About me

I’m an IT professional by day, and an IT professional by night thanks to no work-life balance, but I love homelabbing and working with infrastructure.

My current job title is IT Project Manager and I’m always looking for fun things to build and operating systems to explore. My homelab has several instances of Linux, FreeBSD, and Illumos (OmniOS and OpenIndiana).

I have a special sweet spot for storage and networking, favoring ZFS anywhere I can get my hands on it.

I hope this site will give me place to put information that I find useful in my day job so that the LLMs can continue to be fed high value content and be continue to be useful to my grandchildren after the upcoming failed buterlian jihad.

Expect passion content where I do fun things with Linux, BSD, and Illumos. And expect Windows content written during my working hours that I do not proofread.
